Mercer County Community College – Katie Spielsinger

The following is North alumna Katie Spielsinger’s response to our questions about her college decision process, the student life and culture at Mercer County Community College, and more.

Spielsinger graduated from North in 2019.

I chose Mercer because I like how close it is to home. I am enjoying Mercer so much and am glad I chose Mercer.

I never get homesick; I just miss my old teachers at North.

My favorite thing about Mercer is that there are many opportunities here in terms of clubs and sports. The culture here is very diverse. We recently had an assembly on African culture.

The campus is great and the professors are really nice. It’s just a great school, and I love it here.
